So the top silver piece on my shift **** (auto) is scratched and dented. Wonder if there is a replacement part or something to dress it up a bit. Search but couldn't find anything

I did the above procedure and it came out great. The pics don't show but basically you smooth out the silver art with a green abrasive pad and then spray a few coats of clear over it and let dry. Be sure to protect the leather with blue painters tape or the green scour pad will ruin it.

Otherwise you can just get a new one from Infiniti or upgrade to the M45 **** which many people do.

Im running the M45 shift **** in mine- love it!!!!!

took me less then 5 minutes to install

I installed an M45 **** over a year ago and it still looks brand new.... and I love the look and feel compared to the original.

I've never seen it on the wood like mine, that looks really good. Maybe ill have to change my mind.
