Hand brake question

So the other day I went n took of my front n rear wheel just to get a better look at my pads. They had roughly about 20-25 precent on them so I decided to order all 4 rotators and all 8 pads. But after the fact when I put my rear wheel back on I realized I had forgaten to check something my hand brake.

Right now as it stands my hand brake engages at the very top ( I have lift my hand brake all the way to the top in order for the car to stop rolling) I have a 2007 g35s sedan 6mt. Has anyone here seen or done how to tighten the hand brake.

Any input is appreciated

Thx for looking

within the cup holder area on the left there is a little black piece for holding coins. pull this piece up and underneath you will see a nut that you can tighten to adjust your hand brake, changing out the shoes along with the rotors would be a good idea imo

I'm guessing that only 6MT have hand brakes? Mine is AT and no hand brake.

Correct - in exhange for the foot brake, the A/T has much more functional center console. My cup holders are pretty weak sauce. However that makes drifting pretty tough for the at guys

^ im pretty sure that the Auto S model have the hand brake as well, and the reason our cup holders are useless compared to the auto is due to our tranny shape and size and not the hand brake
