AEM short ram intakes anyone?

Just out of curiosity and the fact that ive tried every short ram intake, I am looking to see if anyone has installed or knows anything about the AEM short ram intakes. They are for the 07-08 Gs and Zs apparently,

ive just never heard anyone mention anything about them

i saw a person mention these a while back but apparently he found out from the vendor that they were designed for the 350Z and wont fit as is in the G due to pipe design, unless they have tweaked that or the info given to him was false i would be a bit weary.

also looking at the design the heatshields seem poorer than the r2c u had so wont be an upgrade.

unless its the Stillen Gen3 the stock intakes with drop in K&Ns are as good as it gets. all the other ones are just there for noise. pick one. theyre all going to be the same.
