Hello!


Has anyone tried or completed putting in a nav unit into a g35 that did not come with nav? I would like to do this to my 08 G35. If you have can you please share? Along with what is all needed to do this.

has been discussed before if you want to incorporate the OEM nav into non-nav then its hardly worth it and would amount close to $2000 and A LOT of work unless you can find parts used and cheap. The hardest part imo is to change the wiring harness, then of course you have to swap out the screen, console, get and install a hard drive with infiniti map and other software etc... no one that i have seen has done this but many have thought about it before backing out because of these reasons.

best thing is to get an aftermarket nav like pioneer or other and incorporate/replace with stock screen, this has been done and can be found on this forum by searching

 

Oh ok that is true. I would assume that the buttons near the screen would not work then? I have tried to find something on a post about anyone who has done this mod but i can not seem to find anyone

 

^ yup thats the console i was talking about, and no i havent seen anyone do the oem nav mod but have seen a couple aftermarket ones, ill try to search for it in a abit.
