Windshield Sprayers

I'm not sure if it is something that was corrected after '07 or not, but my windshield sprayers are complete garbage. They consistently clog and then just dribble out liquid.

I have noticed on the '12 that the sprayers are more of mister. Does anyone know if these can easily be replaced with the newer nozzles?

iv never had any problems with my 07 sprayers, never clogged even once, my guess is you poured regular a water into the reservoir that can cause the sprayers to clog up at times, iv always used windshield fluid which is basically for winter but since its made with distilled water it does not clog anything up.

If you still have problems then im guessing the '12 sprayers should be a straight forward swap

Stick a sewing needle carefully in the sprayer holes to clear clogs

Never had a problem either. Did you stick a needle in the holes yet?

I had one clog a while back, just stuck a needle in it and all was good. FYI, you can also reaim the sprayers by sticking a needle in them and gently pulling the desired direction. Just remember a tiny movement with the needle results in a pretty large change in where it hits the windshield.

An air compressor works really well also.

Mine sprays big streams, and I'd like them to spray a mist. I'm going to replace them soon.

Did you get some debris into your reservoir perhaps? Like others here, I've never had a single issue with my '07 either, so yours may just be a fluke.

08 sedan, I live in a pretty dusty climate but they clog up all the time. I use regular water, nothing special.
