remove seats helpseat

hi does anyone know to remove the pass side and driver side front seat? Want to clean up my car. I have a 2007 g35s. So i have the sports seats. Thanks

just remove the bolts(2 front and 2 back) holding the seats to the car's frame and unplug the harness and youre done.

i would unplug that as well. since the seats have airbags too. Just to keep it safe.

edit... no need to disconnect the battery but you can if it gives you a piece of mind and u dont mind having to reset/resave your memory settings, windows auto feature radio stations and other minor things

EDIT: yup muyrec, ur right after watching the video i think i remember seeing a SRS tag on the sides of the seats but like norcal said u dint have to disconnect batt

huh i thought it did? i remember seeing a crashed G35 and the bags popped out from the sides of the seat. You can clearly see it pop out in this video. It's from a 06 though. at 15 secs in

Yup I have had the seat out of my g before and I didn't deconect the bat and it was fine and u can get the carpet so clean with the seats out it will blow the mind the change u see and the stuff u find under ther lol

Confirmed, we do have front seat torso airbags, in addition to front and rear curtain.

Okay also am i able to drive without having a pass side front seat. I don't want the airbag to deploy while im driving to the place to get my car detailed. And also what tools did u guys use? Thanks everyone for the info

The airbag light might pop up. as for tools, i think a socket size 14 or 15mm will do.
