Stillen Cat-back Exhaust vs Invidia Q300 Exhaust
Stillen Cat-back Exhaust vs Invidia Q300 Exhaust
I have a 07 G35x, and am looking for a new exhaust, but not one that is super loud or sounds like a crappy rice car. I saw on a previous post that someone recommended the stillen cat-back exhaust. I also found the Invidia Q300 exhaust for a $100 cheaper, and it is an X configuration rather than a Y for the Stillen. Do you guys have any advice as to which one would be a better fit?
both fit fine and have a good rep, its just up to what tone and setup you prefer. Everyone has their own taste and prefs, just search for invida and stillen on youtube and see which sound and look you like better since the gains will be about the same. I have heard stillen in person and ridden in a G with stillen and can tell you that it has a nice deep sound which for me was a bit louder than i like which is why i went with FI. then again as i said everyone has their own preferences
There are TONS of reviews with vids and pics on this forum search and youll find em.

if its the gemini it will have the resonators on it. if not, its going to be super raspy on startup. Look at Ark grip catback as well.
money is no object, then go with FI. thats what ive got and i love it.

The invidia will have to be modified by an exhaust shop to fit the g35x. Otherwise, I love my indvidia exhaust. It's probably the quietest catback out there, so if you're looking for a louder exhaust, go for stillen. Like others have said, if you can swing it, FI is probably the best. I couldn't justify spending that much on an exhaust at the time, but the sound and look is second to none.

FWIW, nearly all online videos will not replicate how the exhausts will sound in real life. I suggest finding someone local to you that has either to get a real feel for sound and drivability.
On that note, i consider the Invidia to be ranked none on price, performance and sound.
