Dash trashed by winshield installers, recommendations?

Had my windshield replaced at work today. Go out for lunch and find this. Called the company and they want to repair with adhesive. I think it will look like crap. Recommendations

tell them no, and that they will be replacing the dash. if they tell you no, contact the BBB and a lawyer. your insurance may even be able to help resolve the situation with them.

Was the windshield replaced as an insurance claim? If so then your insurance company will get the company to fix it properly for free.

It's the liability of the Windshield company to replace this. No doubt.

Yup, the windshield company should be insured. They should replace the damage.

Demand they replace it or give you money so that you can replace yourself. Get a quote from the dealer and bring to them.

That is blatant disregard for another persons property. I don't see how a professional could have screwed up so terribly without consulting the owner before leaving a destroyed dashboard behind. What company was this?
