need some oppinions and expertise here...

looking at getting into a 07-08 x this one has 106 miles and is much cheaper .. would buying an 07 with 106k mile be a good idea you think it could make it to 200k?

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

or there is this one which is mildly out of my range both cars are full loaded pre, tech, nav... is the 07-08 switch worth the extra 3k?

My opinion would be to go with the 07 106k. I know car fax is not as legitimate as everyone thinks as far as certain things not being reported. From what I see the vehicle has been very well taken care of inside and out and even the recommended maintenance shows that it has been performed to a good degree. These vehicles maintained well will last you a while with the experience that I have had with Nissan/VQ motors. What are your thoughts on the two compared? does one drive better then the other?

IMO, 1 model year newer and 16k miles is worth the $3k.
The 08 has a few minor cosmetic upgrades. Better finish, non scratching/peeling material for the door handles and steering wheel trim. Factory iPod integration.

Edit: 08 also has the Driver Sound Stage feature added to the Bose

i somewhat agree but its actually a 4k difference doh! for a 16k mileage difference and 08 dash panel which who knows what the cost is to put the 08 dash panel material in an 07 or if its already been done ? ... iPod integration aint worth it that much to me already has the SD card thing... but do you think i could haggle the 08 down to 16k ?

At 120k you're buying an old car in a new body. Sure the car could very well be trouble-free for another 80k miles, but ALL your moving parts on that car have 120k miles (except brakes & tires). If it's going to be just a fun secondary car that you won't have to depend on for long trips and many years of service then I'd get it. I would definitely reconsider if you want it as your main ride though, just a few thousand more and you can probably find one w/ one third the miles and maybe even some warranty left.
