Splash Guards Sports vs Journey

Hey Guys

My daily is a 2007 V36 SP stock sedan I recently imported from Japan that I'm just starting to mod over here in Aus. I am about to buy a few bits from OC Infiniti who can deliver at a good price over here. As we don't have the Journey, Sport, X etc model differentiation I am hoping someone can clue me in as to why the splash guards are different for the Journey and Sport models. All V36's in Aus as far as I can tell have the sport bumper but as that is at the leading edge of the wheel arch I can't see why there is any difference and why it would affect the splash guard which fits to the trailing side of the arch!

Cheers in advance.

The rears I "believe" are the same, but the fronts are different due to the different side valence trim. On the sport, it sticks out more from the body and has more curves to it, while the non-sport valence is more flat and straight "up/down."

Look like sports because of the crease, if you look at pics of non-sports (LINK1) they are pretty much flat.
