08 G35 Spark Plug Replacement, need help

I found a DIY for the Plug replacement but it was for 1st generation Gs. Are the plugs located in the same place?

Where are the plugs located? What tools do I need?

Yep, pretty much the same; three on either side

Thanks! I was able to do it withiin 2 hours.... Did one plug at a time, I have no idea about mechanics but I was able to do the job. I had trouble taking off the throttle body due to stripped 5mm Allen keys.. Everything else was a piece of cake.

How many miles did you have on your G before you changed the plugs? Were the old plugs still in good condition when you took them out?

Did new plugs make your engine perform better?

Thanks in advance.

My g has 104k. The old plugs were kinda burned out, looked very old and wasted.

The new plugs made the engine turn on without Hesitation and the response seems slightly better. Mileage hasn't improved yet but my engine doesn't feel as forced anymore.

I did clean the throttle body and maf sensor since I was already in the engine.

And don't forget to reset the ecu and the other procedures.

Thanks! I will have them changed out once I hit 100k. Maybe I'll also clean the TB too, but I don't want to damage anything or have to do a learn reset procedure....

You can simply reset by disconnecting the battery...
