headlight question..
i own a 2008 g35xs sedan...so long story short, my old headlight had condensation in it and i went out on craigslist and bought a 2009 g37 headlight to save some costs

in the g37 headlight, that top orange bulb is super white. does anybody know what type of bulb and the part number of that bulb that is?
also, a DIY to change it would be extremely helpful. thanks in advance!

First, you would need to take off your bumper (there are many DIY on that, including videos... watch the one that 2 females installing injen intakes)
Then, taking the headlight out would be a ez process after... just few bolts and clips.
orange one is 2827, also known as 168, etc... vleds.com is your friend

like woostar said u need to take the bumper off to install the entire headlight assembly (FSM DIY HERE OR DIY with pics by soundmike HERE) but if you just want to change the orange 'parking light' then you can just do that by turning the wheel and pulling down the wheel liner and then just twist and pull the socket for that light and change. (written DIY HERE)
If you want to get a led then i got 194 and it fits perfect, but i believe 168 is also the same connector so should be good as well

Btw, if you still have your old headlights, you can open it up, dry it out and reseal. I just went through that ordeal this past weekend and so far so good.
You might be able to recoup some of your costs by fixing up the extra set and reselling.
