I want to see your numbers after your tune. I got mine done last month. I pretty happy with the numbers for now but going to do one more thing next year to increase my numbers. Make sure you have a full tank of gas

did you dyno your car?

If you're going to a shop to get dyno tuned just show up with at least a 1/4 tank of gas. If its been a while since you did your plugs you could change them, you'll always see better results with fresh plugs. Other than that if you want any extra maps made make sure you tell them that, (valet, anti theft, economy, etc) I've heard some tuners are lazy and only like to make a power map unless you specifically ask for it.

1/4 tank of gas!?! Are you serious?!? Your car alone goes into eco mode when the car is that low on gas. Just put a full tank in.

LMAO who told you that? There is no factory Eco mode..

And I say at least 1/4 tank because I've seen guys show up with the gas light on... You don't need a ton of gas, but you need some

If you drive your car lower then a 1/4 tank of gas it acts different. Why do you think when you go to an indoor car show they ask for you to be lower then 1/4? B/c your car don't put out as much it tries to save as much as the computer can.

Did you know people go to the 1/4mile strip with less than 1/4 tank of gas to save on weight. It doesn't affect performance!

You know when the gas light goes on the computer adjust the RPM a little lower and runs a little leaner. Its only on the newer cars. When you run less then a 1/4 tank of gas you risk burning up your fuel pump on all cars. The Fuel bump generates heat because it's a mechanical device. And it uses fuel to displace heat, and so when you run low amounts of gas there is not enough fuel to cool down the fuel pump.
