Yeah, but you can still repair small cracks...it's called epoxy and then having the body shop sand it down to be smooth again...Epoxy is cheap, but the labor isn't. It's still better to have it repaired. Buying a used bumper requires it to be repainted again, even if it is the same color. Every car's paint doesn't match exactly the same with each other, even though it's the "same" color code. Temperature, UV exposure, environment all affect paint coloration, so his black might not be the same as the used bumper.
What can't be repaired is if the bumper is cracked at a part where there are screws attached in, since that compromises the structural integrity...

Any way, since the OP can get a nice conditioned OB Sport bumper for much less than the repair/paint I think that's the way to go this time.

Thanks guys for the support and help, and the info about the insurance.
i dint filed a police report because after a night off looking up info its just best for me to either get another bumper or fixed this one i have, no point to go thru insurance hastle because my deductible is at 500 and it will go up, ill just fix the damage although i would love to see this guy and give him some off my words and fist for what he did but, no point to it at the end off the day the damage is done.

but ill keep looking hopefully ill try to come up with a sports front with the lip..
