Flat tire, do i need to replace ALL 4 or just 1? Or only a pair?

I have a 08 g35x... I know AWD cars have different rules since they have differentials that could be damaged. I only have 1 bad tire, but looks to me like it can't be repaired cause its not a hole, but a C shaped puncture.

Am I supposed to replace it as a pair, or all 4 at once? I do know im supposed to have all 4 of the same size and brand... but since I have 38k on my tires now I doubt a new one will be on par with the rest.

Another question... the spare PSI is supposed to be 60... but doesn't say if it's while on the car and touching the ground or if its before the weight of the car is on it.... any idea? Dealership guy said its supposed to be max at 60... manual doesn't say which one... in driving now at 40 psi in case I overfill the spare and have it blow out.

As long as they're the same size it should be fine.

It would be 60 on the ground. I would't inflate past 50.

60 on the ground. That high PSI is to help increase it's load handling/capability.

Also, at 38k, i suggest at least swapping tires in pairs. Not sure what tires you have, but on mine, that would make the difference in tire diameter in the 10mm range -- or akin to going from a 225/50 to a 225/45 tire.

New tires are like 8mm, so it sounds like you still have a lot of tread left(assuming your last rotation was not too long ago). Minimum tread around here is 1/16" (1.5mm). You may be fine just swapping out a set since the G is only a part time AWD system, or you might get lucky finding a used tire?? You can always call a dealer and ask I guess.

10 or 11 for passenger car tires.

as long as it's the same size you won't have an issue replacing just 1..but if all 4 look eh i would replace all 4
