So i finally got my G35xS and i wanted to give the headlights a shade of black. Similar to what AMG's have or similar to my old 540i. But that was easier since i bought the whole headlight housing plus xenons with that.

So anyway i can do this? Should i goto my local tint shop? Ive used the search button and people seem to say the light is "yellow" at night if headlights are tinted on the G.

Where can i buy " Good " quality aftermarket headlights.

Also, im looking to add K&N filters only. Will that change sound or should i get Stillen. Where i live its very cold so is short ram better or long?

Do ECU chips really work? Such as Hypertech?

Im not trying to see gains maybe a little with ECU Chip but i know the intake doesnt give you any unless tuned even then its very minor gains.

Will the Stillen or even K&N Intakes change the sound? Thats my objective really

As of now there are no quality AM blacked out headlights except from clearcorners which are super expensive imo, best bet is to DIY following numerous diy threads here or ship em to one of the vendors here to paint and customize the way you like and return

No ECU chips work they are just gimmicks on ebay as for the diy tuners they just dont work well enough with our cars to waste your money on IMHO as you can see by searching on these forums for hypertech or powerpup...

Some ppl who have drop in K&N say they hear some difference but iv ridden in one with drop-ins i heard no sound difference. Stillen short ram is fine for sound.

I really dig the Headlights, dont know about the Carbon fiber lip. It looks good on white but mine is black so a little unsure how it will look.

Well if you want the bats overlays then just select the style and transparency you like from the website i posted and copy the 'code' from underneath the pic for example "g35shgtr207" then just message blue bat(andy) HERE with that code and the transparency level youd like.

He will then send you a paypal request pay the the ~$45-47 for the pair and he will make em and ship them to you to install yourself or through a tint shop of your choosing... i did mine myself it takes time and patience and a heat gun or blow dryer.
