In a huge predicament (Lost key)

So I went to a formal event last night and somehow my last smart key slipped out of my jacket pocket. I don't have a spare, no keys in the lost in found, and my car is in a ticket zone M-F. To top it all off I have some valuables in the car. It's Sunday so I don't have any way to do anything. What are my options come Monday? How much is it going to run me to get a new key?

Dont see many options other than getting your car towed to the nearest Infiniti dealer on Monday early Morning and getting two new keys made up.

Whatever it costs would be worth it. It's not like you have many options or time to shop around for better prices.

Good luck

EDIT: For cost, it's pretty pricey. Look thru this thread https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ment-cost.html

Some say ~300 some say ~150. I wish it wasn't Sunday so I could find out. It's driving me crazy.

It happened to someone else already. He just payed a locksmith to come over and reprogram a new key. No need to be towing the car to the dealer. All you gotta do is call around locksmiths for some quotes!

And I am 100% sure it would be cheaper than taking the car to the dealer. Towing, new key and reprogramming is gonna be $$$

Are you sure you are talking about the smart key?

As far as I know, there is no way to r-program a new smart key to your car without a Consult III which is only available at the dealer.

Would love to see link if you have one

There is a way. Hell this is probably how they steal the higher end cars.

Supposedly, Consult is the only way, but I've heard others that could do it,
price from local dealer should be about
285E3-JK65A - $131.60
H0564-EG010 - $22.07
Programming - $65-85$
just for your information

Just got the car, Infiniti dealer quoted me 398 + tax for a new key and programming, said the programming would take them 3 hours

I had it towed to the local nissan dealer who did it for 238 out the door, one of the most expensive mistakes I have made.

wow,
we are closer to that Nissan price, 1 1/2 hours tops, unless they are just super busy.... we do them all day long, but yes, it's an expensive mistake when it comes to those

I did call the only locksmith in my area and he said it would take 3 days to get the FOB. I didn't have 3 days I needed my car right then, so I went ahead and paid the extra.
