6mt shift from 2nd to 3rd

I am new to the G35 but I am getting used to it. Sometimes the shift from 2nd to 3rd is rough and feels like it doesn't want to shift into 3rd. The g has 27k on it and it is not all the time. Is this normal?

Definitely not normal. I shift into any gear with ease. Except for the vibration (normal), I love the gearbox.

Any idea what it could be? It does shift, but it is not fluid.

sounds like whoever had it before you missed the 2-3 shift a few times and either bent the shift forks or damaged the syncros. at 27k you are still under warranty. take it to infiniti and tell them you are experiencing hard shifts from 2-3
