Yellow Exclamation mark (_)

I was heading to work when i noticed the light.

I just bought my G35xS 2008 about 2 months ago.

I also moved to Yellowknife, NT, Canada since i started a new business.

Now apart from that Exclamation mark, I drove this car nearly 1800Km from Edmonton to Yellowknife.

Another problem is that cars now a days are so reliant on electronics that i started having doubts about my purchase.

I drove this car mostly on cruise control and it drove like a dream since winter hadn't set in at that time.

Temps go here below -40 between Jan and Feb.

Will I be able to use my car when those temps hit, I do plan on plugging it in, not too sure if i have a block heater but was told that all Infinitis in Canada come with that option already. I have yet to look for that wire.

Also the Exclamation mark, I hope its not for new brakes because i would be screwed since the prices here in Yellowknife are extremely high for fixing foreign cars and dont have to time to drive 1800km to Edmonton...

Im hoping its tire pressure....
Please let me know because I am really worried now...

Thank you

Yea you are going to need a Block heater for -40 and have it plugged in for a while lol.

Others should chime in on -40 but yea its not going to be a normal get in and start and go right away.

No it's not.

It's clearly a flower pot

And the light is there to remind you to water your flowers.

don't know if its the same with the second gen sedans, but for the first gen Gs, the warning light by itself means a communication error or some other problem in the tire pressure monitoring system. if the warning light turns on plus an audible alarm, it means the tire pressure is low.

I never hear a audible alarm with mine.

Mine comes on when the temp drops. Summertime temps are in the 90's here with a drop down to 0-20 degrees in the winter, so in the fall, when we have a few cold nights, the light comes on as cooler temps = denser air = lower pressure.

This AM it dropped to 25 degrees, so i knew the light would be on. Sure as hell, i started the car looked at the light and it stayed lit. So i drove to a station and filled my tires. They were all low, no doubt from the sudden drop in temp. 60's a week ago...now 20's.

Anyway, for the OP, he's probably experiencing the same thing going into the winter and having a few extreme temp drops. Might light probably comes on 2 or 3 times in the fall as temps drop. That's usually the only time a year i fill my tires. Spring and summer..they stay stable

Tire pressure light and yes you do have a block heater. Look behind your front bumper near the front licence plate

It may well be a difference between model/generation years. In the '07 sedan FSM, I didn't see any mention of a buzzer function other than for the tech during the programming functions with the Consult III system.
