Exclamation *HELP* 08 g35xs 67342 miles

Hello all, my problem is lately since it started dropping into the teen temps, after driving about 2-3 minutes my traction ctrl shuts off with slip, vdc and brake dummie lights illuminated. After looking at the owners manual i found somethin peculiar.....
It states something to the effect of blah blah blah these lights come on from failing exhaust components or aftermarket exhaust ??? Wtf?? ..... So has any one else experienced this exactly and found an easy fix or. Will i have to give the stealership my bank account info

Thanks for the help

On the first gen gs this can be related to a bad battery or alternator.

Is the service engine light on?

This is meant in the most helpful of ways (and not sarcastically). But did you try the search function for an answer? I can't imagine that, if it's a very common problem, it hasn't happened to another user on here.

Check your brake fluid or your pads? Sounds like a brake problem since all of those are brake related.

^ whs, 99% of the time when all these lights come up while driving its due to low brake fluid which is due to low brake pad life

when mine were worn, i would get the same lights whenever the car was on a slope or when it accelerated rough. the low fluid level swishing around under such conditions sets them off.

instead of just topping off the brake fluid you should inspect the pads. you're likely due for a new pair.

topping it off, you will have excess when you actually replace the pads

Ahh, go ahead. It's really not much of a problem to remove a small amount of fluid with a simple baster when you redo the brakes; and especially since I got at least another 15K miles out of my brakes before needing replacement (after I had topped the fluid off). Besides that, and more than likely, your fluid could use a thorough changing by the end of a set of brakes anyway.
