G37 all-black / maple door panels and dash on my g35

Finally got this completed. I did the dash / posted about it about a year ago, but finally sourced the door panels.

I've always hated the 2tone doors, and while I've never felt quite as strongly about the washi, I fell in love with the g37 maple when I first saw it.

I realize this may be a love it / hate it kind of mod. If you hate it, that's cool - I'm thrilled with it. The high gloss maple is, imho, super classy.

I like the wood just fine. It does look a bit richer and classier. What's not to my particular taste though is the light colored seats with the dark (and now even darker due to the wood) interior.

Looks nice! I've been wanting to do that to my G. Where did you find the panels?

I've had pondered about if the '10 and newer centre console was interchangeable. Thanks for confirming it! Looks great!

I'm going to guess panels were either gotten from a salvage car or the dealer. And how much did this all cost you?

Also why did you choose to reuse your current heated seat/AWD controls? I'm going out on a leg and assuming that the heater ***** aren't compatible?

Yup,unfortunately the ***** are totally incompatible with the pre-2010 cars

Had to do some custom fab work to get it to fit; if this is something anyone is looking to do, let me know, and I can offer up some tips.

Cost: you can grab the console for about $300 on eBay. The radio faceplate is about another $100 and change. I got the dash wood pieces for about $100 also. The door wood trim pieces are about $125 each from the dealer; given that I had been wanting to switch to solid black panels, I bought them both for $400 off a wrecked car. All said and done, +/- $1000

The wood grain looks awesome, I also love the single tone on the doors. Might have to do that my self. LOL.

I don't have any before pics, but i found this one:

this is a 2007/8 with the stone interior / older console (but with a carbon kit on top of the washi.) He just happens to also have the m35 ****.
