Did my DYI brake bleed with ATE blue over the weekend
Did my DYI brake bleed with ATE blue using the power bleeder.
This is a great thread and helped me out a lot: https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...r-bleeder.html

Each bleed valve has a rubber boot on it, and I took them before I took that photo.
For G35S stock sports brakes, the size of the bleed valve in the front needs a 9mm wrench and the rear needs a 8mm one.
I had a stucked rear wheel that won't come off even after I remove all the lug nuts. I was told to losen the lug nuts a little and drive it for a few feet back and forth. I did that twice and I got the wheel "unstucked".
The blue brake fluid made it easy to spot when the old fluids is out when you see the fresh blue color coming out of the bleed valves.
You should also have plenty of shop towel and water handy, especially if this is your first time doing it. trust me on this one.
After the brake bleed, the brake pedal feels a little firmer and the brakes still work. I guess that's a good thing. haha. This is a pretty straight forward DYI with all the right tools, and this gets you to know your car a little better.
