Drilled or slotted rotors pikz?
I'm too predictable. I did weigh 'em. My scale isn't very accurate, but here you go. The OEM's came in about 10-12 lbs. more.
BTW, predictability can be a very good thing.
Me? It's on the car, had it since 2010.
That certainly is a substantial reduction in unsprung weight as well as rotational mass though. One of the reasons why I never persued a BBK setup was because I knew I'd have to get lighter 2 piece rotors and that they be $$$$, so I can totally understand your not switching out the rears.
I think it's more like 30-31, my scale is off, but definitely a 10lb difference.
TBH though, i got the 2pc, RB specifically, for the added thermal management -- mainly for my, then, more frequent treks to the track. And the only reason i got the Akebono's was because they were the only ones with better pad and rotor options, otherwise the stock sport brakes worked fairly well!
For daily it doesn't do much and is counter productive from an economical standpoint. Much of the weight saved are on the hats which, although affects suspension movement from the weight, doesn't affect acceleration and stopping much. All IMHO.
The rear 2pc only saves you about 3lbs, and most of it is weight saved on the hats. For the price, no thank you.
