Weird trunk issue

On random occasions I go to start the car and get a warning light the trunk is open. I close the trunk and move along my day. The issue is I never opened it. Seems like maybe unlocking the door does it maybe. Anyone else have this happen to them?

This might sound dumb but I've done it countless times. With the fob in my pocket, I've unlocked the trunk on countless occasions that way.

I was thinking this could be it. Just wondering if it's just me...lol

The trunk thing happened to me 2 times so far... My windows seem to roll down more often than the trunk though. I just gotta remember to take the key out of my pocket before I lie down/sit on the couch...

I haven't had my car for very long and its happen to me twice.

The worst by far, however, was when I managed to roll my windows down while parked and it was 40 degrees and raining. That sucked.

Yup, I do it too. The worst is setting off the car alarm by inadvertantly pressing the fob in your front pants pocket bending down.

I personally have not had the windows roll down on me unintentionally. I have set the alarm off while exiting the vehicle. This was embarrassing because it took a few moments to shut it off and meantime all my neighbors are giving me the "wtf" look. The trunk has opened unexpectedly on more than a couple of occasions.

Glad to see it's not just me

Happens to me all the time. Hate it.

I've learned to take the keys out of my pockets when i get home because of it. As soon as I sit down for dinner or bend over, i press the buttons inadvertently
