i just want people to chime in on which TEST PIPE resonated/non-resonated they are running and if its throwing a CEL. looking for test pipes that wont throw a CEL light.
and what is the average install time for the pair of test pipes.

 

most of them will throw a cell... Plus make the car run like d@@k because the ecu still thinks the cats are in there. Plan on getting an uprev tune if you do them

 

Never heard of a test pipe that didn't throw a CEL except for the ART pipes from Motordyne and those do occasionally. seymore is right, you'd benefit greatly from a tune but I'd wait until you've done all the breather mods you're going to do to get one. Install time at a shop is probably around 2 hours, if you're handy with a wrench shouldn't take you quite that long unless you have rusty parts.

You can always get the HFC and don't have to worry about it.

 

Like blue said the only test pipe with a high success rate of not throwing CEL is ART pipes which are expensive but give nice boost in power and little to no rasp but of course there is always a possibility of throwing CEL
