Hey guys im new to the forum and I drive a 2007 G35 sport sedan. I was just wondering if anyone has done a muffler delete to their G. If so where did you get done and how much it would cost to get it done. Im located in Oceanside CA, so if it is close to here that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Any muffler shop can do it for you for 50-100 and as far as how it sounds you can take off your mufflers on your own fairly easily and decide for yourself if you like the sound.

 

Search for "Muffler Delete" above and you'll find all the answers your seeking.

 

Just be warned, you will fail inspections if that occurs and you will have to put them back onto the car when you get your car inspected.

Also, it is illegal in California to do a muffler delete and you can be cited for it by the police. Not to be negative here, but just keep that in mind.

 

anyone out there know how much it would cost to make a muffler tips run out in the back after doing the muffler delete??

It's not too pricey to have a muffler shop run your exhaust pipes back thru to the tips after a muffler delete. I'd say no more than $200 and that's being very, very conservative.

 

in Canada it caused me 170 I'm sure it's less in the states. You won't regret it

 

You probably can save some money by taking the mufflers off yourself and have a muffler shop put on pipes in place of the mufflers.
