I can tell you right now it's not going to be any sensors, it's that paper gasket inside the timing cover that always fails. If you are lucky and the gasket is in good shape you might get away with using just lucas oil with your engine oil. I've only done a exhaust timing relearn + lucas oil and my code hasn't came back in 8 month in counting.

I've replaced all 4 sensors and reset the ECU. Doesn't seem to help because my SES light was back on within 8 miles. Haven't had a change to drop it off by the stealership yet but will be doing that in the late part of next week so they can run a diagnostic on it. Will let you know what they come up with.

Just a quick update. I dropped off the car at the dealership this morning and got a call back a few hours back. They ran diagnostics and all the sensors are fine, but the gasket is blown out internally and they will have to replace the galley covers and gaskets. I also had them do the state inspection since its there so they total came back with labor and parts and whatever else at $1,500.00 after taxes. Will get a detailed bill and post it if anyone wants to know exactly what was done.

yea good it's definitely the gaskets, did they charge you for the 4 sensors? cause if they did they did it on purpose, when I had this issue I was digging around and there was a recall back in 2008 I think that was issued on the gaskets. And 1500 sounds about right, they need to remove the front timing cover which is around a 10 hour job if I remembered correctly.

They didn't charge me for the sensors. I told them that I had changed them all out and didn't get a positive result from it. He said that the checked the pressure 2 times to be sure that was the issue and confirmed it. I went ahead at let the dealership handle it since they will warranty and guarantee the work so if it does come back I can have them figure it out. I think he said 9 hrs is what they pull from alldata and the infiniti repair program. I should have it back Weds or Thursday. I will let ya know what they exactly did.

So I finally got my car back a few hours back and boy, the difference between day and night after having the repairs. The cars drives like it just came off the assembly line. The total came out to 1556.00 said and done. Only thing is they didn't even put on new covers, it was all gaskets for the galleys and solenoid. 9.1 hours of labor which came out to little over 1300.00 so I guess here in Dallas they can charge 145 per hour. They did end up giving me a 24 month or 24,000 mile warranty on the work so if anything does happen they will repair it. Otherwise the problem is finally solved and I am on happy G35er! Thank you all for the help you provided over the last couple months.

Just a quick follow up here. Did your friend do the initial oil pressure readings wrong, or are the minimum pressure (threshold) values different from what infinitidude mentioned?

I ask because I intend to add an oil pressure gauge to monitor my oil pressure (proactively) and want to verify exactly what the real pressure minimums are.

From what I remember when I was messing around with the sensors it's towards the back of the engine where the transmission dip stick is. It's pretty easy to remove I believe only 1 screw is holding it. The front of the engine if I remember correctly was where the exhaust timing sensor and exhaust retarders are. But if you have a P0011 or P0021 code 99.999999% chance it's not the sensors.
