So this started happening to my interior... with pic.

Hey all.
So I "fixed" the issue, and the reason for the hesitation in saying fixed is that only time will tell if it actually took.
So what I ended up doing was buying this:
It got great reviews and was very easy to use.
I took the panel out of my car, this required me to remove the glove box which is not difficult, especially since I had done this before when I installed my subwoofer (also a great time to change your cabin filter if need be).
I took some sandpaper and scuffed the hell out of the inside of the plastic panel and then cleaned it all with alcohol. Then I mixed about 1/4 of the epoxy together for about 3 minutes until the stuff got super viscous.
Then, using a flathead screwdriver, I plopped the epoxy down into the gap and made sure I covered all visible surfaces in there, both on the padding and on the plastic, then I took a c-clamp and locked down the middle of the panel to itself, then took hard bread clips and grabbed all the side pieces of it.
I let the panel sit for 4 hours in my warm garage. Only a tiny bit of the epoxy leaked out of one side and after 10 minutes it was as hard as a rock. I was able to pick of any excess very easily.
Re-installed panel with no issues and it lines up great, there is no smell whatsoever to the interior of my car and I can feel that the panel is hard. I still have a very small light crease in the panel where it peeled back but it really isn't noticeable. After a good coat of meguiar's it looks almost flawless.
Like I said, only time will tell on this one, the odd thing about this cheap Nissan part is that the panel had a padded back, and that padded back is what peeled away from the plastic panel that it lines up to, but there was no glue remnant or anything so I am really not sure how it was ever attached.
Anyways, if you never hear from me on this thread again, the epoxy held, if so it will be me buying that $60 dollar part and replacing it.

So if any one cares, the update is that the glue has held up, but the panel peeled off from other spots and I know now that it just needs to be replaced.
I am curious though, from the pic I showed on this thread, what color would you consider that panel?
I would say... black. However, when I look on this website the two color options are "wheat" and "graphite/stone" and I don't know if that is the only two colors.
Any thoughts?

I'd suggest you speak with a knowledgeable parts tech to verify. If you give them your vin they can always tell you what you need.
