Headlight sensor

I've been having an issue where my left headlight doesn't turn on automatically at night (right one does). However, if I manually turn on the headlights, the left one will turn on, leading to me think that this might be a sensor issue. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can purchase a new headlight sensor. Thanks in advance!

On the dash, all the way in the back there should be a plastic sensor. There is one on pass side and one on driver.

I wouldn't think the sensors for the headlights would be independent. There's no reason I can think of why one should turn on without the other unless a bulb is out or a wire is messed up.

Good thing is that both headlights still work when I put them on manual.

I took a flashlight and shined the light on the right sensor when my headlights were on auto and the lights turned off. Can't say the same happened for the left sensor. Any other possibilities besides the sensor?
