Yeah sorry didn't mean to put long tube for the headers, just the CAI.

I did it awhile ago and can't actually remember. GoodSpeed offers the best services in all of Phoenix in my opinion though.

"Boosted" implies forced induction, don't use incorrect terminology.

I think you either remembered the number incorrectly or their dyno is super super generous.
Got baseline numbers from my buddy who threw his stock sedan on the exact same dyno. Didn't mean to put long tube for the headers. And just forgot to get a print out, my mistake.

. . . So let me get this straight . . . you were using someone else's car for a baseline here. ** FACEPALM **

Oh, this just keeps getting better and better.

EDIT: on second thought, can't decide if OP is woefully misguided or just simply trolling.

I'd like to believe our cars are capable of this.. but a 80hp increase just from bolt-ons is MASSIVE and too good to be true.

That is not how baselines work. Do you have his dyno or did he forget to print it too?

Hopefully the OP isn't trying to deceive anyone on purpose.

I think it's just a case of someone who doesn't know enough to realize either:
1. Someone lied to him
or
2. He's remembering the details wrong

The only way you get 80 hp from bolt ons is if you actually believe the marketing numbers aftermarket parts manufacturers claim and then just add all those numbers together.

I remember years ago with my 02 Trans Am adding up all the "claimed hp gains" from bolt ons. I'd end up with an almost 500hp car without touching the internals of the engine.

You can't gain 75hp from just intake, exhaust and a tune.
