P0152 and P2A00

Hello everyone,

I'm recently a new owner of a 07 G35X. I been looking at G35's and G37's for some time and recently came across a deal too sweet to put off, I bought it from a dealer friend and got this car way bellow wholesale value.
But anyhow to the point the service engine soon light was on and I knew that the vehicle didn't need any major work as their fairly reliable.
But when I checked the codes what I got was:

1. P0152
O2 Circuit High Voltage
(Bank 2, Sensor 1)

2. P2A00
The DTC Definition is not available..
(When I googled the code what I got was - P2A00 Nissan - Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1)

This brings me to the question from asking my mechanic about it he said that I should replace the O2 Oxygen sensor. But the other code is different? From also asking other opinions the response that I got was the bad O2 sensor is causing the other code to come on as well and its common for that to happen, that P2A00 will go away once P0152 is fixed.
My only hesitation is what if that's not the case, I will have to throw more parts at it, or what if the MAF is the issue?
Or there are leaks? cracks etc..
Not sure what to do?

Also I thought its best if I get the part myself and have a mechanic install it for me for only 40 bucks. Not sure where I can find a O2 sensor for cheap in Toronto. I see their priced well on eBay but I'd like to physically pick one up. Any ideas? Also Bank 2 sensor 1 is upstream right?

Thanks

Just change the O2 sensors. They help regulate the A/F ratio, and it'll most likely get rid of both codes. At this age they should probably be changed anyway. If you let it go too long it can ruin your cats, so get on it, bub. O2 sensors do wear out, so like I said, probably need to be changed anyhow. It wouldn't be a waste of money even if it didn't fix it (which it will). I would change the upstream and down stream. I know it sucks, cuz they're expensive (I would go OEM for these), but that's part of owning a finely tuned machine.

Thanks for the feedback. I think your right on second thought I was considering getting the OEM even though their somewhat pricier. Atm though I might just replace the one sensor with an OEM part and hope it goes away.

That's cool if you just wanna change the one but definitely go OEM on smog parts. They'll last much longer, so really they're cheaper in the long run.

Valuable info, thanks again. I just picked up an OEM Upstream sensor going to install it tonight, hopefully all goes well.

I'm in Toronto so 195,000 Km converted would be 121,000 Miles.

Anyone find a solution? I have had my tuner check for leaks, cleaned MAF, replaced Bank 1 Senor 1 (I only am throwing P2A00), done throttle relearn procedure and SES still comes on every 100-700 miles. Mods are below. I am at a loss for what it could be at this point.

06 6MT <40,000 miles as of this post
MD 5/16 spacer
MREV2
Z-tube
Berk HFC
HKS catback exhaust
Uprev Dyno Tune after all parts installed
