Do G35's have Tire pressure system from the factory?

I have had a '08 G35X for about a month now. I was curious if the car comes with a pressure monitoring system.

Thanks,
Todd

Based on the questions your are asking here, you would do yourself a big favor if you just read through your owner's manual. No excuse if you don't have one, as they are available online for free.

Ehh, I'll have to disagree with you about that, but yours certainly was though.

Okay maybe I was quick to go after you I just hate how no one gives a straight answer on this forum they just say do your research.

Sorry about the hijack.

If he did his research, he'd find that they do in fact come with TPMS stock. However, if his rims were aftermarket, and the previous owner did not transfer them over, then he's s.o.l.

Let's assume no one does there research on here. I see to many replies on here from the same members on here that that's all they say to newbies now. Better off not saying anything at all.

If you have the OEM wheels, the sensor could be out and have to be replace. Not worth the money. You could give us more info on what wheels were on the car.

So much knowledge in the archives... I guess I am just old and cranky.. flame me at will.
No flames here treach, I couldn't agree more.
I do think it somewhat generational though, as I typically find that younger folks have: A) a far greater expectation to be spoon fed than those who are older, and B) no sense of pride or self-satisfaction from being self sufficient and generally doing for oneself.

Here's an example from another recent posting. Read it closely and see what all he's asking for in this post:

Hey Guys! I have an 2007 Infiniti G35x sedan and I want to get a new front bumper. I've seen someone put a G37 bumper on a 35 and I was wondering If I could do that and where I could buy the parts I need from?! So if you guys could please post and tell me what options I have to make the bumper look different that would be great!! Thanks! (If you could please include links and prices)

I had to laugh at that one. I wanted so badly to post a question about whether we could pick up the parts and install them for him too? . . . , but I refrained.

I guess I don't understand your pathological need to dump on the guy. Does belittling him make you feel like a big man?

If you read a post, & think it reflects ignorance or laziness, why on earth would you waste your valuable time on it? Why not just move on?

On second thought, why the hell am I wasting my time

-There was nothing pathological about it, and given that it was anonymous and from another unnamed thread, I did not, in fact, dump on the guy at all. I merely shared an observation with another member that could likely appreciate the differences in expectation levels from posters.

-I don't think I belittled him at all, and no, even if I had it certainly would not make me feel like a big man. This is the interwebz after all; there is NOTHING here that could possibly do that.

-Trust me, I did not waste any time on it at all, other than using it as a reference for my comment here to another poster.

-I did move on. I made no comment in the thread where it appeared.

-I can't help you with that one. Does it mean that you're pathological?

Clearly, I have touched a nerve here, as it usually does whenever someone comments frankly about the differences in expectation level for a poster asking for help. If you look through my postings though, you will find that I most definitely offer help (answers, observations, suggestions, comments) to scores and scores of questions posted here. I am usually all too willing to offer help. I hold no judgement about those who are ignorant and/or uninformed about cars and all things mechanical, nor do I feel any sense of superiority to them in the instances where I am more knowledgeable. Trust me, I've lived long enough, been married, worked, and raised two kids through college to be that pathetically shallow. All in all, I genuinely LIKE helping people, but I will say that it is so much easier to help people that are inclined to help themselves. IMHO, making an effort to answer your own question and then seeking further help where it is needed is far better than just expecting others to do for you what you are too lazy to do for yourself.

But then I could just be pathological too.

Funny how this thread moved so far away from the topic, haha.

Anyways, the way I see it is in the time it takes to say to do research, if the question is simple enough I may as well answer it again. Makes it easier to research for others in the future as well, with more reference threads.
