One had a hole to get driver through housing but nothing I had was long enough, hence extension. The other was no clearance from the side or behind screw hence the right angle driver.

I trimmed a little notch at the bottom of the shrouds for a place for the Halos wiring, again from The Retrofit Source. black silicone adhesive then stuck the halos in place setting them upside down overnight.

You can see the three screws that held the ballasts in. I used a piece of trimmed polycarbonate again for this part. I wanted to mount the new ballasts in the same location.

I arranged the ballast in the fashion I wanted to clear the screws as well. Then I got nylon screws and hot glued them to the carbonate.

Clear silicone around the existing gap. It doesn't look clean but no one could ever see this when installed. I also allowed for the halos wiring through the silicone.

Did I mention these projectors have a high beam function and a bowl pattern design for primary lighting? Much better light coverage than any "fog" light. I'd know since I been doing this for about 8-9 years on various Hondas. THANKS to The Retrofit Source for all there help.
Thousands and thousands use film and it works just fine.

Also did I mention the hella's are bi-xenon (yes I did) so they have high/low beam as well. Plus a projector is a projector, the light output is determined by bulb and ballast. The Hella 90mm d2s uses a H4 unlike the H1 in the morimoto. So the Hella will be brighter (assuming same ballast). Also Hella cutoff will be much better, as Hella quality is far above morimoto. Dont get me wrong TRS makes a great budget projects, but they are far from the best. I have built multiple sets of custom headlights for G35 and G37 and custom headlights for motorcycles and Jeeps. Morimoto are great if your trying to save a buck, but there are better options if you look.

I've mentioned my experience with HIDs already, when using HIDs bulb type is irrelevant with light output. I have meticulously observed kits with different bulb types from the same manufacturer. bulb length is identical. Only difference is the base. Also they are all driven by the same power output, a 35W or 55W ballast or whatever it may be. So I question the statement that hellas is brighter because it uses H4. More likely to do with the bowl reflector shape and bulb wattage. All of that is explained on The Retrofit Source. But I did not know that about the Hellas, being hi/low function. Plus I wouldn't know for sure which is the best product because I've never tried all of them. But so far I am impressed and satisfied with the Morimotos. Ill keep that in mind for the next project. What do the Hellas run because the Morimotos weren't exactly cheap either, compared to other fog options. Can you get me a link to the hellas you are referring too?

The length of drivers was shorter as described but it wouldn't route inside the housing. I used 1.5 inch hole saw on the back of sealed cap

Once done I reassembled everything and connected the wiring and mounted the headlight. After putting on the bumper cover this is what the headlight looks like.
