AC is acting funny

Hey everyone, I don't post much as I don't really have many issues with my G35x but I do enjoy lurking and reading the other posts.

Well, now I have an issue with my AC and I can't find any other threads on it. I was driving home yesterday and about halfway home my AC stopped blowing cold air. Being 100 degrees out, this sucked.

It's like the compressor stopped blowing. The air was fine one second, then it gradually got warmer until it was nothing but full blown hot air. I checked the fuses and they are fine. The radio still works fine so I don't think that its the circuit that links the AC with the radio and I checked the Freon level which looks to be in the normal range.

I found on another site someone suggested turning the AC to 60 and see if it kicks back in and sure enough it did. However, in that other thread they didn't say what the root cause of that is.

Can anyone tell me so I can get this fixed please?

I have the same issue, A/C only works when it's set to 60 degrees.

I wouldn't say mine "only" works when set to 60 degrees... but it blows a lot colder when set there.
