OBDII trouble codes P0014 and P0024

I own a 2007 G35x at 146k miles and my service engine light came on the other day so I plugged in my OBDII scanner and it threw codes P0014 and P0024. I did some research and from what I read, it has something to do with the camshaft and its sensors. P0014 appears to mean that I have a bad exhaust valve timing control solenoid valve, assumingly that would be the part to replace. And from reading further on, P0024 happens to be bank 2 while P0014 is bank 1. Apparently bad engine oil could cause this but I just recently (after my SEL light came on) replaced the engine oil and cleared the code but it was thrown at me again. My oil level is fine.
Has anyone encountered these codes before? I find it pretty odd that both bank 1 and 2 would go out together but I'm not super genius on these specific parts of the engine so I'm looking for some advice. Is there anything I can DIY to fix this problem? If so, how much would parts cost me and how difficult would it be? I really don't like going to the dealership since they're professionals at ripping you off, and I live in Hawaii where there's only one Infiniti dealer. Is it a fix that an ordinary repair shop can do? I think I have to replace at least one of my wheel bearings (I've been having this "rum rum rum rum" road noise for a while and I'm positive it's the bearing) and that really isn't cheap either even when you do it yourself so....
i would gratefully appreciate any knowledgeable feedback on these trouble codes. Thanks

Just so you know, your car is just a rebadged Nissan, so you also have the option of using Nissan dealerships for "dealer" level repair service. It can be hit or miss to go to an ordinary repair shop. If you already had the problem fully diagnosed and just needed the parts and labor service to complete the fix, then it would be much more predictable, but just taking the car into a random shop could result in poor diagnosis's, unnecessary parts, and wasted labor.

In a perfect world, I'd want my car diagnosed by a dealer, but fixed by myself or an independent repair shop.

You will need to replace both bank 1 and bank 2 VTC covers(also known as exhaust retarders) After they are replaced a dealer will have to hook Consult 3 plus to vehicle and perform an exhaust valve timing relearn procedure to fix properly. Hope this helps brother.

Did not want to create a new thread, since there're plenty around. Just purchased an '07 sedan with these codes (both banks). Has high miles @224k, so I am ready for the new drivetrain. Oil is full and looks/smells normal. Priorowner had both magnets/covers replaced around 60k miles ago at the dealership (have receipts). I've made sure the exhaust timing relearn was completed by hooking it up to my mech's computer and doing the required steps. Today, I've removed both solenoids and all of the screens looked very clean. I've ohmed one of them out at 7.5 Ohms of resistance, which is within spec at 75F. I've removed the driver side exhaust valve timing control position sensor towards the firewall and it ohmed out per spec as well, so I'm pretty sure that's not it either.
This leaves with cam and crank sensors, but car has no problem with cranking/starting. Timing chain components wear - very likely at this mileage. Or yet another failed set of these magnet covers, which I'm definitely not spending $1k on to replace lol For that, I'll throw a low-mileage engine in it... Funny enough, car has plenty of power and no hesitation, so I might just drive it until it gives out and put some electric tape over the cel lol
