First post. DIY midnight grille (w/ pics) & wheel question

Long time lurker on here, decided it was time to finally jump in and make my first post. I'm on my 3rd Infiniti now (02 I35, 04 G35 sedan, and now the 07 G35 sedan), and after having had this one for a few months I decided it was about time to start "making it my own".
Keep in mind that I really prefer a clean, almost OEM style look- just a little sportier. For example, the I35 was tinted and had 19's off of an 06 M35s. My first G (04 OB sedan); 19" coupe rays, bigger brembo brakes, m3 style trunk lip, window tint, sound system, & had ugly (imo) plastic trim around bottom of car painted to match the factory OB color.

Now for the current G (07 OB sedan w/ journey package), I want to stick with the "stockish" look, but again I want to make it look a little sleeker & sportier (without breaking the bank). After having owned it for a few months now, I decided it was time to get started. I really liked the look of the OEM midnight grille, but did not want to spend the crazy $$$ the stealership wanted. So, I took to my own devices and made my own midnight grille using a roll of glossy black vinyl, for under $6!!! (I'll try to post some pics below.) Next on this list is obviously wheels, to get rid of the not so loved 17's. I know I want to stick with OEM, but am really having trouble deciding on which ones to get. At this point, I've narrowed it down to the 07-08 sedan sport package 18's, the 08-10 G37S coupe 19's, the 11-14 G37S 19's, or another set of the M35/45S 19's. Heck, I might even consider another set of the 1st gen coupe 19" Rays. HELP!! lol

Any/ all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As she stands now w/ the DIY midnight grille..

I got the same exact car color and everything except with all the packages (even tech) and i copped the 11-13 g37s coupe/2014 q60s 15 spoke wheels brand new in the box for 900 or 950 off craigslist. The guys friend ran an import export service and was able to get his hand on nissan/infiniti wheels. They look amazing if u keep up on them. I also just did my grille all black obsidian which was a pain in the *** because of the sanding of the chrome layering on it then it got primed then sanded again. My body guy painted it for free tho.

I'm on my laptop right now and do not have a pic handy of my black grille but the 15 spoke 19s are head turners for sure. Thinking about doing them black maybe.

Nice car man! Those 15 spoke 19's do look pretty sweet on the sedan- first time I've ever seen em on one actually! And just my .02, but I'd keep em the stock hypersilver color, I think they give things a nice contrast and go well with the chrome window trim.. Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out on Craigslist & all the local G/Z pages.. Also what % Window tint is that?

20%. I got full rosewood trim on the inside too which i think came in a stick-on pack. Thinking of wrapping the chrome trunk lip black too since i did the grille black. Not sure yet, really want to do an exhaust and coils to get rid of the wheel gap. But definitely getting an intensive detail done in a month or 2.

Nice, I think mine's 35% (which I believe is legal limit here in GA - came on car when i bought it), but I want to go darker for sure.. I was actually planning on doing the trunk lip later this week, so I'll be sure to post pics once I get around to doing it.
