2007 G35x trunk won't open.
2007 G35x trunk won't open.
Good morning all,
I was recently using my trunk and I put stuff in it and then when I stopped driving I couldn't open it back up.
I know some people say it may be frayed wires under the trunk panel but before I do that I want to check the fuses on the kick panel, does anybody know which one it is?
Also, finding it pretty hard to open the trunk through the hole in the back seats and since this model doesn't allow the seats to fold down I'm not sure how else to open the trunk manually. Any thoughts?
Any information would be great.
PS. There is no movement/feel when I try to top en on my fob, button by the sterling wheel or the button on the trunk. Wires or fuses?

There is a switch in the glove box that allows the trunk to be locked wont open with the remote or with the switch near the steering wheel.
Open your glovebox on the top right corner there will be a switch make sure its on the ON position if not check your fuse box near your left foot.

Also, any tricks or advice on how to open the trunk through the little hole in the backseat? I don't think my model has the red strap to pull down seats.
Thank you for the info!!! Do you know which fuse it is? Nothing on the panel says that any of the fuses go to the trunk.

Look for this:
