Worth getting Bolt Ons for my 08 G35S?

I’d just like to start off by saying, upgrading the engine was never my intention from the start. I told myself I’d only be doing “Cosmetic Upgrades” because 300+ HP is plenty. It’s pretty clear too see the potential of the VQ35HR motors, from looking at 350z’s even when their just NA.

However unlike most the of the Upgrades NA 350z’s out there.

My G35s is an Automatic ):, didn’t have a choice.

My only concern is if my automatic transmission can handle the extra horses.

By bolt ons, I’m talking intake, headers, downpipe and possibly a tune.

Yes the stock AT can handle it but for ANY AT I recommend an upgraded cooler as the first mod and make sure you're doing regular fluid changed. If you have the 7AT it's a bit more difficult due to the process of checking the proper level and needing to siphon out old fluid but still totally do-able.

thanks for the quick reply, any recommendations for an upgraded cooling system? Preferably one that does the job but doesn’t blow the bank haha.

I've don't know what the popular options are for aftermarket transmission coolers sorry. Should be able to find that out with a good Google search though, check out what various vendors have to offer.
