Does anyone have a pic of the under body (front part) of the 07-08 G35 sedan? Specifically looking to see the under engine splash shield. I want to see exactly how many screws/bolts it contains. Not push in clips; Just the screw/bolts.
Check out the TBW Performance website. He makes aftermarket splash shields and usually has pics of them installed. I say usually because I just looked it up and he does not have pics of them installed, BUT it looks like all RWD 2007-2014 Infiniti G35, G37 & Nissan 370Z use the same piece, so a pic for any of those will do.
If it helps, my 2006 coupe uses ALL bolts and zero push in clips.
Weird, my '06 sedan uses all bolts + 1 push-clip right in the center. It's pretty convenient for re-installing, just get that one push clip in, and everything else lines up without any struggle haha.
I think there are 18 bolts in total, don't forget the two in the middle.
Just from a visual memory, I 'counted' 15 in my head but certainly may have forgotten a few. So 18 or so sounds perfectly reasonable.
Infiniti's online parts store says (12) of one screw and maybe (4) for a different screw (may explain why mine has some missing or some that don't thread in properly).
----
OP: If you're looking to replace yours or replace missing ones, just take one of the fasteners to any auto parts store. They are generic fasteners and are easily sourced. They are likely sold in packs so get ~20 and you'll be covered for sure.

Mine didn't have a fastener or push-clip in the center but I did try and run a fastener into once. It just spun and grabbed nothing ! A push-pin makes sense for helping re-attaching it.
You see 3 holes in the middle of the panel, the small one is for a clip, the other 2 are bolts
All other holes on the edges are bolts
Thank you. I needed to know because I am going to replace mine and won't be getting under the car until summer; So wanted to know how many bolts I need to buy. I already have a ton of the push in clips
