Turn off oil maintenance light

I have a low mileage 2007 G35x with an oil maintenance light showing everytime I start the engine. The dipstick shows I'm OK so I'm thinking its an oil change reminder that illuminates after a certain number of miles.

How do I get rid of this light permanently? I can manually turn it off but I have to do it after every engine start.

Is it showing up in the instrument cluster between speedo and tach) or on the 'stereo' ? If it's the instrument cluster, use the buttons on the right-hand side of the cluster. You have to be in PARK to move through the menus. I think the top button will open the menu, the bottom button cycles through the items... It's not super intuitive but find the oil-minder setting and look for "Reset". That reverts it to "0" and it won't remind you.

It has NOTHING to do with the oil level only when you want to be reminded of when to change it.
