Automatic Transmission Drop Resistor

Sup guys,

I am experiencing symptoms similar to a bad drop resistor. I am unable to find the part number for this in our cars, does anyone know what the number is? Also, does anybody know where the drop resistor is located on our cars?

More than likely it's inside the TCM which is inside hte transmission mounted on the back side of the valve body.

I'm assuming your vehicle is shifting very sluggishly, have you checked fluid level? I also don't know that the G35 actually uses a drop resistor. It's more than likely just digital parameters. If the vehicle starts shifting normally (fast engagement) at WOT then it might be something along those lines but if it still shifts sluggish at WOT it's probably something else since it will be at full line pressure.
