Just test drove an 08 sedan. I own a 350z and an currently borrowing an 04 G sedan, so I'm used to the platform a bit. How loud are these things supposed to be ? Got done with the test drive and looked for aftermarket cats or test pipes, looked for a resonator cut out, nothing, this car is bone stock.

For the people who have driven multigenerations, are they just much louder?

 

That HR motor is a little noisier from the engine bay compared to a 350Z equipped with a DE but from the rear the 350Z is a bit louder, quite a bit louder if it was a Nismo 350Z. Are you sure it's the stock cat back on the car?

 

Positive it's all stock . Only thing done to it is the dash light have been altered
