P1757 front brake solenoid

I own a 2007 Infiniti G35x with 137k
Transmission fluid is good, nice and red
No coolant contamination
I have a check engine light P1757 only
Did some research and I’m having all the symptoms of a open TCM circuit.
I can drive the car for a short period of time before the car goes into limp or safe mode.
Restart the car and The car is driving fine for X amount of time before it goes back into limp mode.
Went to several places and it’s all the same stuff
they want to install a new valve body with TCM
cost is from 1400 to 2k
I know my car and I’m almost 100 percent it’s a broken circuit band leading to the solenoid.
I’m in the NY area
can anyone repair this for me or recommend someone who will repair for me? Of course I will pay labor fee.
These mechanics today don’t want to repair
they just want to replace and kill your pockets
3478136533 help
thanks

Either way you pay 3-4 hours labor to disassemble/reassembly the valve body.

For the REPAIR of the code you will be paying at least an hour labor to solder/test the broken pin and/or replace a failed solenoid. Expect 2 hours of labor so ~$250

For the REPLACEMENT of the part you will pay $150 for a refurbished TCM that's going to work right out of the box and no additional labor.

Pretty simple math when you look at it from a shops perspective. Of course if you're doing the labor yourself the cheaper route is to disassemble, inspect for broken pins on the TCM (most common culprit) and solder. If the pins look good then replace the solenoid for about $20

Another reason shops tend to push replacement of components, if they only fix JUST the broken part there's a good chance that other worn components are going to have you back in the shop again that year, usually as an angry customer because "you already paid for them to fix the transmission". If they just rebuild/replace the entire unit, either way you're paying about the same labor hours, but you're getting ALL the components fixed and the chances of you being back in the shop again for the same issue is very slim.
