Thanks! I'm getting zero supported parameters on AT. I've reached out to support as well. I will be getting that adapter you ordered tomorrow.

If that doesn't work I wonder if there is some compatibility issues between a Journey and a X?

Let us know if your X can see AT temps.

Thanks!

It's possible but I hope not. I do have the 4wheel drive network for parameters but being rear-wheel-drive I didn't even try. Actually I've only used two of the networks engine and transmission. I should probably try and load all. Obdfusion is usually within 24 hours for a response. When you are able to read your Transmission temp check your fluid. It blew me away that the dipstick read in the cold when I thought it would be close to full.

My wife has a '14 Fusion and the ELM327 adapter I have for it has a toggle switch that you have to flip in order to "talk" to different CANBUS networks depending on what you're trying to do.

Curious if Joenavy85's Ultragauge can read it as well.

I did a simple (measured) drain and fill a few weeks back (1 of 3 planned) and level seemed to be likely close to what it should be. I wasn't on factory fill as I made a mistake of getting a flush back in 2010 @ ~33K miles and then lost the TC in 2014 @ ~68K miles. Fortunately covered under extended Infiniti Elite Warranty. That was around the same time my power steering rack and AC compressor went out so around $8K in repairs on my extended factory warranty.

Searched through, couldn't find any trans temp, though mine is a version 1.0, so a more up to date version may have it. I'm planning on ordering a brand new one next week. I'll let y'all know what I end up finding out.

Per the UltraGauge site, their MX model "supports non-standard manufacturer specific gauges, such as tranmission temperature (if supported by the vehicle)". Their UltraGauge Blue (Bluetooth connected) also supports the non-standard gauges like the MX.

Digging through the UltraGauge site and they have a Gauge Availability Estimator, based on vehicle. They currently have nothing regarding any 2008-2011 Infiniti vehicles in their database, although they have a 2007 G35S Sedan, it's only showing a MT option, so it looks like I'm going to be the guinea pig to find out what it will read on our 5AT G's.

I've got 152k on the G I bought it with 60ish. Only real problem I had was the power steering pump went out and that was my fault. I pinched the rack when I was doing dounts. It was still under warranty and my mechanic convinced the inspector that the rack and pump were bad so I came out ahead I guess. Any one have any luck with aftermarket warranties? I know this may hijack the thread but anyone else using something other than matic s? I've been using Castrol multi-vehicle import for drain and fills around every 10k(2nd oil change) with no problems. So I'm almost at 100k using it.

Unfortunately the one Amazon sent me appears to be DOA. It doesn't broadcast BT. Tried with 3 different devices too. Need to get a replacement.

I used Idemitsu Type J. FCPEuro was cheapest. Says it meets Matic J/D/K. Time will tell I guess.

I will bring this up to support. I do see a scan of 100 but it never finds any PIDs.

OBD Fusion/Link support might need to see a debug log of successful PID scan and compare it to my failed scan. At this point it could be my car is an anomaly or an issue with the X models.

Interesting that they call it "Type J". Many years ago, at the same time that Nissan introduced "Matic J", Castrol released their "J" ATF (only in Japan though) and there was apparently a fair amount of evidence that Nissan's fluid was in fact Castrol's "J" fluid. In the rest of the world, the equivalent fluid is sold by Castrol as their Import Multi-Vehicle ATF. After 100k miles, it would be hard for anyone to claim that this ATF is going to destroy your transmission....
