Turning vibration

Did some searching here with no luck, maybe I'm just not hitting the right keywords. I get a weird noise/vibration when turning sharply at low speeds. It's not constant, and it's not consistant. Sometimes it makes the noise (sort of a groaning noise for about a second, as if something rubs briefly) and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes while backing up, sometimes while going forward. I initially thought i had something rubbing my tires, but i checked the tires when I rotated them 2 weeks ago and saw nothing suspicious. Any ideas?

Are they stock wheels and tires? Sounds like some rubbing.

Look at your fender liners and see if the tires are rubbing against them. Should see a mark of some kind where the tires are rubbing the road dirt off. They won't leave a mark on the tires. May have a screw missing or some loose clips.

Factory wheels, OE size tires, I'll crawl under tomorrow and check the fender liner. Just over 159k miles, less than 15k on the wheel bearings.
