slight hesitation at take off

My 07 G35 S has started a slight hesitation at take off if I take off slowly only, if I give it more gas its fine. No hesitation any other time and just drove it on 700 mile trip and put cleaner (techron) through tank but still doing it. Has tons of power all the way to redline, its just after it warms up and I slowly take off from a stop it dips for a second. Is this ECU needing reprogrammed? Has 80k on it. I did install a new battery seems like right before this started though, any relation?

Seems to be the famous "throttle toe in" that the early hr models experience. From what I've read you have 2 options. A ecu flash from the dealer to the revised software that eliminates it completely or the free option is to learn to work around it with your foot and pedal pressure. I have a hr model and I have the same experience. It's kinda jarring to me and it's funny they my 06 lancer feels better than the g in the lower gears.

Thanks for the reply! I think you are talking about the way it lurches upon take off, its done that forever, this is different. However I fixed it last night it seems. I disconnected neg terminal and tapped brake pedal 7-8 times and then after about 30 min reconnected battery cable, and drove it and its gone! I think it had to do with my changing the battery some how recently.

Thanks for reply! However I fixed it by disconnecting the neg battery terminal for 30 min and while it was disconnected I pushed brake pedal 7-8 times and when I reconnected cable and drove its back to normal! I think it was all connected to me installing new battery a few weeks back.
