inside of front tires worn out

My 07 G35 S sedan wore out the inside of my tires in less than 20k. The outside look good still. Control arms? Should I do lower control arms and end links? I do notice the steering wheel jiggle over bumps back and forth too. I can also hear a squawk over bumps at slow speeds.

also looks like there are a few options for front control arms mine being a 07 sedan S package (not sure if the "S" has a different arm than a regular sedan) Lower forward or lower rearward or upper fronts?

I am going to take to alignment shop and see if they can tell me if off or arms are shot. I had it aligned prior to new tires 20 k back but I suppose it could be off now.

Sounds like you have worn components that is throwing your toe out of alignment.

Yes thats what I think too, guessing lower control arms, but not sure if its the ones facing forward or to the rear.

A good visual inspection is where to start, take a short prybar with you and pry against various components to see which ones are worn. If you're still on the stock compression rods (the lower ball joint) they're almost definitely shot, however depending on mileage and ab/use if the car has near 150k on the front then it's likely that EVERYTHING will need to be replaced.

Personally I'm of the opinion that if the front suspension has more than 100k miles on it and you have one component fail then you just replace EVERYTHING all at once. FUCA, compression rod, tie rod inner and outer, wheel bearing, transverse link (lower control arm), sway bar end links, and struts.

It's a lot easier to just take apart everything and rebuild the entire front all at once rather than have the car up for repairs every year because something else failed 6-12 months later. You only need to rebuilt the entire front every 100k-125k miles and many of the components require substantial disassembly of other things just to get them off so might as well knock out the entire thing all at once.

Especially if you're paying shop labor, you end up wasting a lot of labor hourly rate if you piecemeal the front together rather than doing it all in one shot.

If some other component fails and costs you a set of tires that's half the cost of a complete front end rebuild (parts only) right there.

Thank you, I have 93k on it now. I dont expect to keep it for maybe another 10k or so, great car, but will go to something else before too long. Is the compression rod ball joint inside the front lower control arms, forward or rear facing?
