2007 G35x

I bought my 2007 G35x in 2010 with 60k miles. It now has 235k and has been a great car (other than interior material wear), but recently I have had 2 lights on the dash pop up and cand seem to figure out what the cause is. 1 is the yellow car icon *Keyless Access /Start Fault indicator, 2 is the red *Security/Immobilizer indicator. The car starts and runs fine. I took it to the repair shop and they thought it was the Neutral Park Switch (Parts and Repair $1100) * they didn't seem too confident though. Someone in here thought it might be the keyless transponder but it does the same thing with both key fobs that I have. Unfortunately, the nearest Infiniti dealer is 2 hours drive and I'm not a fan of the Local Nissan dealer so I'd like o try and figure it out myself.

Have any of you seen both of the dash car icon's lights turn on? Incidentally, the red one stays lit and pulses all night, yet it goes out when the car is running until the car is put into any gear???

Thanks

Just take it to Nissan and pay them for a 1 hour diagnostic to plug in their Consult-III machine and see what error code it's throwing.

Have you tried changing out the batteries in both fobs? It could be purely coincidence that the batteries are both going dead at the same time.
