Replaced window belt molding today

- Purchased from Motors Head Japan - https://www.parts-sale.jp/
- Shipping "Postal Service - Ordinary" is cheapest but takes about 2-3 weeks to arrive via USPS
- Factory OEM parts and very well packaged
- If paying with Paypal make sure you use Yen for currency as this will avoid foreign transaction fees
- Total for all four $193.48 shipped.. as many know cheap compared to domestic purchase... this would have likely been over $400 + whatever shipping with domestic source

Very easy to replace these with no door disassembly whatsoever... roll the windows down and swap... rubber on mine were starting to crack.

•• Disregard Step #1 and #2 on front and #1 on rear

If you need quicker I'd go with Impex and go Fedex

Lots of these have gone bad over the years with no replacement options … Thank you for the write up.

When you replace the fronts just lift up piece at rear of front door first.

They go about an inch or so into the mirror assembly but will slide back as you pull in rear direction out of the mirror area. This is probably why FSM suggested more disassembly but it isn't necessary.

I swapped all 4 of them in 20 minutes... probably spent more time cleaning things up than removal & install

I logged in just to say thanks for this info. I just ordered through Impex and will get them in a couple weeks, hopefully. I really appreciate all the help.

How were the items from Impex? Were they genuine Nissan and packaged well?

Yes, they were apparently genuine Nissan, and worked great.
