U1000 after P 1757

Hey guys it all started with my cam position sensors, I changed all four and the crank sensor, but now:

I’m having an issues with my TCM I believe, i soldered the connection on my front brake solonoid on the valve body, after a p1757 code popped up and there was a crack,

AND NOW after reassembling after the fix I’m getting a U1000 with no start, I’ve checked the connections several times and redropped the valve body, I need to see the AT CONT 10 amp fuses are blown, I think this thread might be part of it, but I’m not sure what harness guy is talking about.

What often happens is if you don't disconnect your battery before unplugging computers then they blow fuses when you plug them back in.

Always disconnect the battery before unplugging ANYTHING.

That makes sense man, I do need to look through my fuses- I fixed the u1000 code, I messed up when I put my valve body in & screwed a long screw through the valve body and broke another connection:/ i soldered that one too though and now there’s no code.

I cannot get my car to shift back into park, any ideas there? I pulled it out when it was on jack stands and it won’t go back in.

Can you use the shift lock override on the shifter itself to get back into park?

If you can use the override to get into park then the car probably thinks you're still traveling and won't release the lockout.

If that works does the gear indicator on the dash tell the correct gear (park in this case).

I think it will only allow you to go into park if the brake pedal is depressed. Do your brake lights turn on/off correctly with the pedal?

So the break lights come on and off correctly, and with the pedal depressed it will not go into park.

It also will not go into park with the shift lock override.

could it be a fuse? It feels pretty mechanical.

EDIT: Once the cover is off look around for loose change or other debris that might be wedged into the shifter.

Yeah if it won't go into park with the shift lock override depressed it does sound mechanical.

Take apart the shifter console cover, on the side of the shifter is a blue relay on the left side (it's covered in mastic tape and shiny metal tape on top of that) that might have failed. Disconnect that relay and see if you can then use the shift lock release to get into park.

If that doesn't do it look around for something physically broken on the shifter.

Make sure the shifter is properly inserted into the valve body on install i messed up on initial install, didint have the shifter rod in the right place. I also have the same code im guessing from the same issue i put a screw through the middle and think i fukked it up. Now i have intermittent start or sometimes have to start in neutral
